To improve educational deficits, physical, mental and social health skills of foster children, at-risk youth, individuals and families within the community.
Refining Fire Atlanta, Inc. programs pursue a common goal: that through mentoring, outreach, and art therapy programs, as well as with the implementation of the organization’s seven core values, foster and at-risk youth receive the resources and tools needed to combat depression, anxiety, anger, stress, low self-esteem, and other mental, emotional, and behavioral health related issues. Our programs are tailored to meet the specific individual needs of each child, adult and family we serve. In turn, empowering them to break the intergenerational cycle of mental illness, emotional distress, and unhealthy behavior patterns by addressing their less than favorable circumstances in a healthy and effective manner.
